18D/E Declaration

I/we confirm that I/we have fulfilled our obligations in respect of Principal Designer / Principal Contractor as defined in Regulation 18DE of The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024 and Part 2A (duty holders and competence) of the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended). As far as I/we are reasonably and practicably able to ascertain, the works, to the best of our knowledge, comply with the Building Regulations. I/we therefore formally request issue of the Final Certificate.

I/we confirm that as the person carrying out the work, I/we have passed all pertinent fire safety information to the responsible person (RP) as required by Regulation 38 of the Building Regulations such that they may adequately and reasonably fulfil their ongoing obligation under the RR(FS)O.

Final Inspection Declaration Statements – Regulation 18 In accordance with The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024, it is mandatory for specific compliance declaration statements to be submitted by the Client, Principal Designer, and Principal Contractor. These declarations are required before All Building Control can issue a Final Certificate.Please note that our Final Certificate will only be issued once all relevant declarations have been received from the designated dutyholders. If any dutyholder is unable to provide a declaration, we are obliged to cancel the Building Regulation application and refer the matter to the Local Authority, which may then take enforcement action against the Client.These declarations are not discretionary. We require the following information before All Building Control can issue a Final Building Control Certficate.
